St. Albert’s Robotics Teams Shine at FIRST LEGO League Qualifier!
On November 22, 35 teams gathered for the FIRST LEGO League Challenge Qualifier, and our St. Albert’s Robotics teams made us incredibly proud with their creativity, teamwork, and determination. Our 8th grade team, The Last Royals, wrapped up their final season with heart and hustle, placing 11th in the robot games. Their leadership and dedication have set a wonderful example, and we will miss them as they head off to high school! Congratulations to our advancing teams: • 7th Grade – Trowel and Error Placed 3rd in the robot games, earned the Engineering Excellence Award, and qualified for the Championship! • 7th Grade – Digital Dreamers Placed 10th in the robot games, received the Robot Design Award, and qualified for the Championship! • 6th Grade – Viking Bro Bots Placed 8th in the robot games, received the Rising All-Star Award, and qualified for the Championship! At the Championship competition held on December 13 at Mendive Middle School, the Digital Dreamers earned the Motivate Award and placed 9th in the Robot Games, Trowel & Error placed 5th in the Robot Games, and the Viking Bro-Bots won the Championship and are headed to the FIRST LEGO League World Festival in April in Houston, Texas.
