The Parent-Teacher Organization has 3 goals: 1. To build community: Parents are our most valuable resource. The PTO is an essential part of the school, and involves parents serving as role models for the children. 2. To plan fundraising events: The parent community will raise funds to enable special projects for the school. 3. To support classroom instruction: The PTO helps teachers by providing room parents to help coordinate activities, providing materials and serving as aides.
The Parent-Teacher Organization meets once a month. Parents are required to attend five PTO meetings during the school year; as are the teachers. The officers of the PTO are elected by the school community in the spring. The PTO is conducted under the direction of the principal. To read our PTO By-Laws, please click on the following tab:
