​Vikings Class provides middle school students with additional time for instruction and work in an environment with a lower student-to-teacher ratio. Each middle school grade meets three times per week. 

Students receive an academic grade that is based on in-class engagement and behavior as well as coming to class prepared to work.

In Vikings Class, students work on academic skills in addition to organizational and study skills.  A certified teacher coordinates educational supports based on student needs and provides instruction and scaffolding to maximize student progress in core classes.  Placement in this class is determined by several factors including individual student needs and situations and staff recommendation and approval.
