The St. Albert computer lab hosts 36 desktop computers shared by the students.
Instruction is focused on Typing Ability, Video and Slideshow production, Problem Solving activities, Internet use and safety, and Document creation. Examples of educational software used are IXL Math, My Access!, Sumdog, and Mavis Beacon.
St. Albert school is equipped with shared Wi-Fi throughout the campus and networked workstations in the lab and classrooms. In the classrooms there are desktop computers, 40 IPad tablets and 36 Chromebooks that are used during classroom instruction.
Students use the lab for Standardized testing in the Fall and Spring. K, 1st, 2nd take MAPS test and 3rd-8th take ACT/Aspire. Both tests are taken digitally.
